The shadow box part turned out fine. You can just see the pleated folds in the bottom corner of the photo (and the little tear as a result of my less than perfect execution). However when I layered my acrylics, they weren't clear enough and the effect was blurry. So idea scrapped and I went back to good old glue dots to give me my layers.
All the sewn elements you see are part of the Mix and Mend papers and stickers. The only thing I did was position them to create structure for my card. This little biker is riding off to thank Keri for sending me some lovely scrappy supplies.
Linking up to these parties.
Sassafras supplies :
Mix and Mend papers (handmade hob, free composition), journal stickers, flag banners
Cherry Delicious paper (winsome) and Garden bits (orange)
Other supplies :
g.c.d studios Urban Artsy epoxy sticker, Basic Grey Sugar Rush brads, American Craft Elements brads
