Sandy's Challenge #3 - Winners

I enjoyed all your interpretations of Challenge #3. There were cards, layouts, sock monkeys and even cupcakes ! Thank you everyone for playing along with me. Having set the challenge back in February, I took a fresh look at the inspiration photo and made this card. It's my take on the yellow / green colours and the strip / dots pattern.

It takes a truely creative mind to turn a rain boot into a quaint little house that I would definitely want to cozy up in if I were a gnome. So adorable ! Way to be creative Lilly and congratulations on winning a great little prize to boot ! Ha ! Get it ? To boot . . . haha

I am a crafter who loves using found objects in unexpected ways. So I'm thrilled that Britt picked Lilly's boot as the winner. Plus I admire her use of interesting angles when photographing a three-dimensional object outdoors. And I think many of you do too as hers was the most viewed entry submitted.

Sandy's Pick Winner

I'm a big Sassafras fan. So Colette's Babe layout using all those critters from the Jungle Bungle collection really caught my eye. How perfect for the challenge with it's 5 giraffes, 4 monkeys (2 in the pics), and 2 elephants ! I picked 10 pcs of 8"x8" G45 Curtain Call papers as an additional prize for her.

Suprise Me Winner

Shirl from Malaysia submitted her Bouncy Cows handmolded from Korean modelling clay. I know cows are domestic animals but they fit in with the rounded dimensionality of the inspiration cake animals so well. And I was blown away with her detailing on such a minute scale - down to the little pink udders ! Shirl, I picked 5 pieces of Travel Forever papers for you together with a surprize item.
