Resume

I'm Sandy Ang. A 40-something, paper-based crafter from the sunny, little island of Singapore. A cardmaker, scrapper and off-the-page project creator. I love playing with lines and shapes to produce layered, textural and often dimensional items. My style varies depending on the supplies I'm working with. It ranges from classic to quirky and eclectic. I approach each project as an avenue for creative expression and as an exciting opportunity to try something new.

Currently Designing for :

Artfull Crafts - New Zealand LSS from September 2011 to August 2012. I appreciate the freedom granted by Liz to select our own supplies and Lowri's wonderfully organized coordination. Most of all I love how cleverly Liz partners with different brands and create opportunities for her designers to showcase their work.

Ruby Rock-It - Australian manufacturer starting from November 2011. I'm thrilled to be selected by Rachel for the brand's first US design team and to be among so many talented designers. It seems such a milestone for me to be showing my creations for them at CHA Winter 2012.

Scrappin Studio - a Malaysian online store that sells Studio Calico's monthly kits. I'm grateful to Jaime for allowing me to explore my quirky side on layouts for her blog. Sharing my kit creations every alternate month from February to June 2012.
